Brethren lets turn our bibles quickly to Exodus 14 vs 13

It reads;  "Moses answered the people, Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today, you will never see again."

Hallelujah!

The bible recounts how the Egyptian army tried very hard to stop the children of Israel from reaching the promised land. Relating it to life today, it(life) is not a bed of roses and there are barriers that try  to stop us from achieving our goals. These barriers may not literally be an army sent by Putin sorry Pharoah, but they give us problems and most times stops us in our tracks when we seem to be making progress in life.

It is quite normal to go through phases when it seems like nothing is going well. A perfect example is my beloved Manchester United. They currently do not have things working for them. They are in their 'Egyptian' phase.

What makes success stories sweeter to hear or read is when there is a turnaround from a low point to a high point. What we do during our low points in life  is what defines us. It is what defines our character because during this period, our resilience is tested, our believe in what we do is tested and our determination to succeed is also tested.

Our ability to pick ourselves up from the mud, dust off (oh wait na to change cloth o, potopoto nor dey dust off) and keep going shows our willingness to not give up. You cannot do this if you never had faith or believe in the first place. When you believe in your cause, no matter how many times you fall, you will rise again.

Because something isn’t quite working out as you initially intended dosen't mean it won't work at all. Don’t take my word for it, look at all of the most successful men and women on the planet, they all had times when their resolve to achieve their goals was tested and what made them still be what they were meant to be? They never gave up.
