"If I broke na my business" Now you don drive your helper
Everyone has goals, plans, hopes, dreams and aspirations. But the thing about life is that we can hardly achieve any of our ambitions all by ourselves hence we need people around us to be of support when we need it. Even Pheelz and Buju (sorry, BNXN) needed the help of their label, music promoters, radio stations, music streaming platforms and of course the all mighty social media to ensure that their song became a hit; now we’re all FINESSEing away.
You can only have “destiny helpers”(as our MOG’s would call them) if you are ready to put in the work or are already putting in the work. These helpers can be friends or even total strangers. You don’t expect people to partner with you in that business or to hop on that great idea that you have if you’re not passionate about it. Same goes for a lot more facets of our life including our personal relationships. You can't be carefree about something and expect another person to take it serious. People only give value to what seemingly has value(does that even make sense? You sha get what I’m trying to say).
Life cannot be done alone and we can only be surrounded by people who are willing to go the extra mile for us if we also are willing to do the needful and have a positive mindset or outlook on things. You can’t expect an investment in a business if all you’re bitching about are the risks and possible failure, or expect your boss to take an interest in you if you’re lackadaisical when doing your job, or expect a friend to properly put you through a difficult course if you constantly show that you’re unwilling to learn by say, never coming early to the study session or always having excuses to not show up(las las na vibes you go use write the exam).
What I’m trying to say from all this plenty plenty talk is that if you are lazy, unwilling to make an effort or indolent, nobody go look your side because once your energy is negative or bad, everybody immediately becomes Wizkid and Skepta(you see what I did there?) 😉
Well. If I broke na my bizness😁. I hear u;😎

DeleteI found this little piece soo interesting and needed. It really portrays the behavioural approach towards tasks by youth these days and also stresses the need for a much needed attitudinal change towards life and work.
